Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. What is the difference between a trike built with a conversion kit and a Cool City trike?
Some companies manufacture conversion kits that can be used to modify two-wheeled motorcycles to convert them into trikes. While these products offer some of the potential advantages of a trike, they also incorporate many design compromises due to the base product having been designed to be a two-wheeler.
The Cool City Eagle was designed from the ground up to be a high-performance trike. The result is a vehicle with a lower center-of-gravity for increased safety and improved handling, a vehicle you sit inside of, rather than on, a vehicle with improved protection from the elements and one with familiar controls that provide handling and driving characteristics similar to a sports car.
2. Do you offer a reverse gear?
The standard automobile automatic transmission includes a reverse gear.
3. Can I pull a small trailer?
A small motorcycle trailer or bike trailer can be towed with the optional hitch.
4. How much does a Cool City Sport Trike weigh?
It varies by model, but the range is 2100 to 2400 pounds (curb weight.)
5. What kind of mileage can I expect?
Mileage will vary with engine type, but with the lower vehicle weights, our expectations are in the low to mid-30 miles per gallon.
